Grandma’s Cranberry Relish


Ingredients
 

  • 2 bags of whole cranberries (24 oz) 
  • 2 apples 
  • 3 Tb of granulated sugar 
  • 1 Tb fresh lemon juice 
  • Fresh rosemary to garnish 

Instructions 

  1. Rinse cranberries and pat dry. Add to food processor and pulse until they are finely chopped.
  2. Slice apples and add to food processor. Pulse until they are finely chopped (you do not want cranberry and apple mixture to turn to a watery consistency. Stop pulsing once mixture is course but NOT chunky)   
  3. Add sugar and lemon. Pulse one more time. 

  4. Stir mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Best to make ahead of time and save overnight. Before serving add sugar and/or lemon to balance sweet and tart as you like. Garnish with fresh rosemary and serve!
