Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. chicken wings
- 1 Tb coarse black pepper
- zest of 1 lemon
- juice or 1 lemon
- 1 Tb seasoning salt (I use Adobo. You can use Lawry’s as well).
Instructions
- Place chicken wings in a medium sized bowl. Add the lemon juice first. Then add lemon zest, coarse black pepper and seasoning salt. Mix with your hands or tongs.
- Set Air Fryer to Max Crisp setting for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Pause and flip wings over with tongs 7-10 minutes in. **(If you don’t have an air fryer add 1 Tb baking powder w/ aluminum to the recipe. Once ingredients plus baking powder are mixed together, place on cookie sheet or rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Use metal tongs to flip halfway).
- Once golden brown and crispy to your liking, garnish with lemon 1 tsp lemon zest and 1 Tb flat leaf parsley (optional)
